Hello, System frequently shuts down and restarts more often than before due to the Kernel-Power-41 error on Windows 11. After replacing the RAM and memory module, the BSOD persists. Now with the new RAM, the crashes have stopped, but the Kernel-Power-41 issue remains—screen goes black and the whole system reboots regardless of activity. I left the computer idle for about 30 minutes before it restarted. Hardware details: Motherboard Asus ROG Strix Z490-E, Processor Intel Core i7-10700K @ 5.2GHz, GPU Asus GTX Strix 1660TI, RAM Corsair 32GB 3200Mhz Vengeance RGB, Case Phanteks Pro M with tempered glass cooler, SSD Samsung 850 Evo 500GB, Crucial MX500 1TB M.2, HDD Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB (two 2TB drives), total 4TB. I ran CMD system tests and received no results. The BIOS was set to XMP 1, but when loading MSFS2020 it rebooted again.

Performed a power test with the multimeter using the black and red probes. Based on my observations, it passed. The readings matched the expected values for each of the 24 pins.

PSU met both voltage and amperage requirements. The Watts weren't mentioned, but it worked for your setup with five drives, two of which are mechanical.

I experienced similar problems before, mainly due to an overclocked graphics card. Switching it to silent mode helped once for me. Now, on a different system, I tried everything but failed. Updating the power supply didn’t work. Eventually, I purchased a UPS, which resolved the issue again. It seems my wall outlet introduces minor glitches that trigger a "41" error in the event log.

Sure, I understand. UPS is important, but the PSU wattage isn't available yet. I'll keep an eye on it.

My setup isn’t GPU-dependent; I’ve reinstalled the BIOS, updated drivers, and it’s been smooth ever since. Still, I made several changes and it’s hard to say if things will work again. The issue began after a faulty RAM stick—XD—I thought it was an 850-watt power supply.

I believed everything was working properly, but then I encountered multiple Kernel-Power-41 errors within five minutes.

Check the bios display for any signs of shutdown. This test aims to fix a hardware or bios configuration issue.

Keep the system active in the BIOS settings. For a specified duration, I've configured it using the Q-fan control panel with a graph display.
