I'm using a MacBook Pro Mid 2010 and want to switch to Windows 10, which Apple doesn’t officially support. I modified the info.plist file and created an installation disk, then tried installing "Windows 7 or later." Now I’m stuck with this error message at the bottom of the page. I’ve already checked the info.plist and tried removing and re-adding my model, but it still happens. I’m not sure if I missed something. If anyone has advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Checking if you could move from Windows 7 to Windows 8 during the bootcamp setup is possible, but it depends on your system configuration and licensing. You should be aware that Apple has implemented restrictions on older Macs, which might affect compatibility. It’s worth noting this could be a concern.

I meant Windows 10 in that context. Maybe Dr. MacIntosh has a solution for you.

I went after the person to the section where you split the drive and encountered this issue

I attempted to set up and remove partitions named BOOTCAMP, but couldn't complete the process. Now I’m stuck with a situation where my internal SSD shows about 190GB, and there’s a -641 in the containerdisk1 file. Thanks for your patience—I’m actually at my cousin’s place for two weeks and just want to play Coop!
