Hey there, I just built my first PC and have been struggling to install an OS for a few days now. After a week of trying with Windows 11 and failing every time, I switched to Windows 10. It installed without issues, but when I tried to set it up, I ran into a blue screen related to memory management. After rebooting, the PC booted into Windows, but it was extremely slow—almost unresponsive. I couldn’t access anything and it felt very strange. After turning it off, Windows reappeared, but it disappeared again into the BIOS. There, I noticed the BIOS didn’t recognize any boot drive, though it did see my SSD. It seemed like Windows had been deleted on its own. My main concern is the RAM; in the BIOS I changed it to 3200MHz, but I’ve read that even if supported, the system sometimes ignores it. It was originally set to 2400MHz before I adjusted it. I’d love your advice—could you help me figure this out? Any questions would be great!

Check if your RAM passed a memtest. It might also indicate an SSD issue. Would you like to provide the complete system specifications?

You don't have to set up Windows for testing memory. You can build a bootable USB using memtest86 (or the free memtest86+) on it.

Sure, I'll wait until I'm home and then provide you with an update.

I adjusted some BIOS settings and met the system requirements without using a Rufus USB or XML file. This approach worked well. The issue now is that I’m encountering another problem. I got stuck at the "searching for a disk" step, thinking the disk windows would be downloaded automatically. It searched for a while before returning this error.
