Hi all, I'm still trying to figure this out. Yesterday I assembled a new PC with the specs listed and chose Windows 11 Pro. Since I was using Windows 10 on my older system, I thought it was time to switch. After installing the drivers, I started encountering random BSODs without any clear pattern. Sometimes it happened after just a minute, other times it took about fifteen minutes.

I managed to download Cyberpunk 2077 before all the drivers were set up. I wondered if my new power supply might be the issue, but it didn't affect power consumption. Then I ran memory diagnostics and found no problems. Using CMD with sfc/scannow also detected issues, which I fixed. After another run, everything seemed normal.

I tried driver repair tools like Restore and even after that, the crashes continued. The worst was the changing BSOD codes each time, mostly pointing to a faulty or outdated driver from my research (some blue screen codes listed below).

Before the crashes, I hadn't noticed any lag or stutter. I checked the Event Viewer and found the Kernel 41 (63) issue, but there were other problems too—like an AMD keyID error. I considered switching to Windows 10 to see if the problems persisted, but they didn’t. Except for a slightly longer boot time before the system started.

When I turned on the PC, all lights came on, but it took about ten seconds for the "Beep" sound and the boot screen to appear. Anyone have any advice on fixing this? Some BSOD codes I saw were: -bsod nvlddmkm.sys -dpc watchdog violation -amdkmdag.sys -SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED -system service exception - Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal PC: MB: Gigabyte Aorus x670e Master CPU: Ryzen 9 7900x RAM: 2x16GB G.Skill DDR5 6000Mhz (XMP1 on or off didn't matter in Windows 11) GPU: Gigabyte Aorus 4090 OC NVME: 2TB Samsung 980Pro SSD: 4TB Samsung Evo PSU: Seasonic 1000W 80Platinum CPU AIO: Lian Li Galahad V2 6x Lian Li SL Inf 120 fans 1x Lian Li SL fan hub and 1x SL Inf fan hub

I'm hoping this helps someone else.

I don't have any advice, but just wanted to chime in and say that I have been experiencing frequent and seemingly random BSODs on my new build with a similar configuration also. I have chatted with one other on Reddit too who was experiencing issues with a config like ours. We both tried different kits of RAM and he tried multiple GPUs, but the common denominators between our builds were mainly x670e MOBO, 7900x CPU, Windows 11 Pro, and 32 GB of 6000Mhz RAM (XMP either on or off, made not difference) Him and I both tried troubleshooting extensively. I've been unable to fix it, though it has become less frequent with each BIOS update I am able to get for my motherboard. I'm hoping this is just early driver issues and will sort itself out soon with some updates . . . Sorry I don't have much to contribute in terms of actually troubleshooting the problem. I just want to keep the conversation going in case this is a more widespread issue with this combination of parts & OS. Maybe someone else will have a fix, or if a lot of people are experiencing it maybe enough attention on the issue will put pressure on AMD / Microsoft to put one out. . . Please update if you find a fix, I will try to do the same.
