Error during startup indicating missing or faulty Explorer.exe file.
Hello everyone, I'm facing some issues after installing Windows 10 1903. I used the Media Creation tool to try an upgrade, hoping to resolve my problems like DISM failures and RDP issues. Recently, I noticed a specific error message after rebooting from the RDP troubleshooting thread. It's the first time I've seen this one, and I haven't tried rebooting yet to check if it reappears. I remember this error before but don't know how to fix it. Appreciate any advice you can offer.
I reached out to MS through live chat. Actions I performed: Restarted the explorer via Task Manager (recommended by support). Attempted DISM and SFC (self-initiated). Disabled all non-Microsoft services in MSCONFIG, then rebooted—no issues. (Confirmed by support) Later re-enabled non-Microsoft services in MSCONFIG, rebooted again—still no errors (both self and support).
