Most of the time I don’t need to seek assistance on forums, but this issue has been frustrating for a long time. When trying to install Windows on my MacBook Pro (Mid 2017, i5 7267U, 16GB LPDDR3-2133 RAM, 512 GB SSD) using Bootcamp, the installer keeps bootlooping with ACPI_BIOS_ERROR. I’ve tried everything possible—hardware diagnostics, reinstalling macOS and Windows versions, checking forums like Reddit—but nothing works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I don’t have any background in bootcamp. It’s been more than ten years since I worked with Parallels on Windows 7.

The answer was to reset everything and set up 10.12. This means I’ll continue using macOS until Apple stops supporting Intel Macs, then proceed.
