I installed a Linux Mint USB to free up space on an old Linux partition. Most of the drive was now unallocated, making it ready for use in W10. The installation and its partition stayed untouched. After restarting, I encountered a 0xc0000001 error during recovery and couldn’t proceed beyond that point. I’m trying to understand why this happens and want a solution without having to reinstall Windows. My important files remain intact, so I can back them up before any future installation.
Refers to a 512MB partition or a distinct segment, not just the main drive. I also regenerated the BCD with the standard format.
I mean it clearly. The system is ready to start without any changes.
