You can adjust how Windows displays low space warnings. Check your system settings or task manager to see if you can disable or customize the alerts for drives with limited free space.

It relies on a percentage calculation instead of actual remaining space. The cutoff is under roughly 10%. Adjusting the low-space limit isn't possible. You can turn off alerts in the registry. This guidance applies to Windows 10 and should work in Windows 11. Start > Run > Regedit > OK. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer, right-click the empty space, create a new DWORD Value, name it "NoLowDiskSpaceChecks", set its value to 1, then close the editor and restart.
