I was using a laptop with an L 50 b model. The USB card reader was originally on the left side, but I moved it to the right side. One day, I connected the card reader to the left USB port. The laptop started turning on quickly, like plugging in a power source from the wall. Even though the battery was fine, I never managed to get the PC up. When trying to power it on, the number lock LED activated, and the keyboard edge light turned white and blinked normally. However, I didn’t hear the fan spinning, and the system didn’t turn on or show the BIOS. I’m not sure what’s wrong; my knowledge is limited, but I hope it’s nothing serious and I can fix it.
