Error detected in the unpaged section
Hello everyone, recently I encountered a BSOD on my PC, this is the first time I've experienced it. I'm not sure what caused it. Under the error code, I saw something like "WHAT STOPPED: K7SENTRY.SYS". I watched several videos on YT and many recommended disabling the automatically managed pagefile and setting it to 'no paging file'. However, my current settings have 'system managed size' enabled. I also noticed that when I put the system to sleep after being away, the case fans would turn on unexpectedly, lighting up every time I used a browser for a short while before seeing the BSOD again. I'm curious about the reasons behind this and how to prevent it from happening again. Thank you.
Auto handling is enabled by default. Turning it off can cause a hard crash if RAM runs out, as Windows reserves memory for critical processes.
I performed the steps mentioned and encountered the same BSOD issue. After running a memory test, everything seemed fine. I checked for drivers and found an update available. When attempting installation, the problem persisted with repeated BSODs. It appears the driver is the root cause, but I’m unable to apply the update. What should I do next?
