Recently I encountered thousands of similar warnings. The vendor ID points to my GPU (GTX 1060), yet there are no apparent problems or artifacts. However, when many of these alerts appear together, the system slows down noticeably—PC temperature rises by about three degrees during that time. It seems to intermittently recover once I restart the PC, but then restarts again. I plan to share screens later for analysis. Right now I’m unsure how serious this is; it feels urgent but I don’t know what the warning actually means. Since this hasn’t happened before two days ago according to Windows logs, it seems like something worth addressing, though I’m not sure if fixing it would help.

No, there isn't any overclocking happening at the moment.

I considered the same thing too. Yes, I replaced my GPU, but I turned off the overclock and disabled Afterburner—it still occurred. XMP was already active, which had been the default since setup. Other overclocking methods didn’t seem to resolve it either; it only happened briefly after turning on the PC.

Have you attempted the DDU GPU driver and removed Afterburner as well? Then try re-seating the card. WHEA often indicates an issue when the overclocking fails.

I initially considered that possibility too, but the OC performed consistently across all tests, including Firestrike. Still, this also occurs without an OC—when I power on the PC, the GPU isn’t OC as I manually do each time, and it doesn’t happen during gameplay. I plan to try DDU and re-seat the card; it seems connected to the GPU after all.

Typically when the computer behaves oddly—showing random errors or slowing down—the issue is probably with the power supply unit.

Really, I overlooked mentioning this around the same time these alerts began. I only realized later that day when reviewing the event logs that my screen went black for a brief moment. I assumed it might be an HDMI issue at first. After playing games, things felt odd, which coincided with warnings appearing in the event viewer. It seems like the GPU might not be receiving enough power, possibly explaining the unstable OC and WHEA alerts. Of course, it’s just a theory, but it makes sense. The PSU could be the culprit—I don’t have another one to test. Still, the card appears fine; games run smoothly with no crashes or artifacts. Good thought, though—I might need to get a new PSU if the driver update doesn’t resolve it. Not that I can afford it.

Sure, just let me know which version you're referring to.

It's a quiet pure power 10.5kW 80+ silver unit.

Consider ordering a quality open-box PSU for testing, and return it once the issue is resolved.
