I wish to revisit this old discussion but I'm encountering the same problems as the original poster, including a brief blue screen before restarting. I also had to capture my screen with my phone and sift through the footage to locate the issue. After reformatting the C: drive it worked for a while... but last night my computer crashed while launching a game. @Special Agent 星雨, did you manage to identify the underlying cause? Specs: 3900x3080 FE, 64 GB, Trident Z Neo 3600, ASUS ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Hero.

I'm experiencing the same symptoms with my GPU as well. It seems like everyone else is describing this issue in a similar way, which suggests there might be a shared cause worth addressing. @driggsy @SpecialAgent 星雨 any suggestions for a lasting fix? I'm planning to disassemble and reassemble my system to see if it helps right now.

I'm facing the same problem too. I used to run unigine valley on Linux Mint 20.2 with Extreme preset for hours without any issues, but when I switched to Windows 21H2 it crashed after just a few minutes. In Windows, everything works smoothly when browsing or watching videos, and I ran a stress test without any BSOD. However, playing games like Warzone or running Unigine Valley causes a crash after about 5 to 6 minutes. The situation is similar with the other person's setup.

I've been dealing with this problem for a while now. The solution seems to be disconnecting all GPU power connectors, swapping the 8 pins, and then reconnecting them. Performance usually improves afterward. It appears to be related to the power cable, given that others are experiencing similar issues.

Hey, it looks like you were in a tough spot. I tried all the fixes I could think of, but it kept crashing. Once I removed the GPU, cleaned it with compressed air, and put it back in, things started working smoothly. It's been two hours without a crash, so I'm pretty sure it's working right now. Thanks for the help!
