Hey there, I'm facing a serious problem! I recently upgraded my power supply to a higher wattage but still encountered an Over Voltage warning for the CPU. Even after switching back to the original PSU, the issue persists. The CPU voltage is around 4 volts and the DRAM is also at that level. My IT colleague suggested replacing the CPU, but I noticed the DRAM is in the same range. Should I replace the DRAM too? Is this related to the motherboard? I'm considering a full rebuild, but now I'm questioning if starting fresh would be better. Details: MOBO Asus Prime Z370-A, i7-8700K, 2x16GB Ripjaws V RAM, old EVGA G2 650W PSU, new EVGA Supernova G5 1000W, upcoming Gigabyte Aorus Master 3070ti card.

If your CPU and RAM operated at 4V, they’d likely be nonfunctional. Would you try launching Windows? How does HWiNFO display this information?

I can only start Windows by bypassing the voltage sensors in the BIOS settings.

I turned off the voltage monitors in the BIOS and generated a HWiNFO report. The results show it's operating between 0.6 and 1.2 volts.

Only Gareth's sensors are available. Check for VCore voltage.
