Hello,
I faced an issue after a two-week vacation returning home. When I tried to turn on the PC, no image appeared on the monitor. Initially, I suspected a problem with the video card or display. I tested using another monitor, HDMI cable, and DisplayPort, but it still didn’t work.

I considered removing the power cable from the video card and taking out the RAM from its socket before reinserting them. After doing this and restarting the PC, an image appeared, but the error persisted.

I tried the option "Load Optimized defaults then boot" and it worked. My main questions are: why did this happen? Could there be a hardware issue? I’ve had the PC for a year and this hasn’t occurred before. Did the PC go unused for two weeks before this problem appeared? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does the clock on the device seem accurate? It's conceivable the power source might be depleted.

You're right about the year and month, but the day wasn't clear enough for you. Is there anything else you'd like to address?

replace the battery on the motherboard with a 2032 watch battery.
some motherboards wont function if the battery is low and will just reset the bios every time its turned on.
other thing is if you go on vacation unplug your pc from the mains as if there's a power cut etc it could interfere with your system.
other things include corrupt harddrive or loose connection.
