Error Code Memory - Causes Delayed Windows Setup?
PC Specifications: HP Z420 Workstation - CPU: Intel XEON E5-2670 GPU: AMD RADEON HD 7470 RAM: 128GB Micron PC3L-1-600R-9-13-E2 MT36KSF2G72PZ-1G4E1HF (16GB x 8 slots) SSD: 128GB Silicon Power 2.5" SSD Received this workstation without any CPU, RAM, GPU, or hard drive. All components were installed and the CMOS battery was changed. When I connected it, it powered on instantly—no button press needed. Initial screens displayed error code dimm 6 on CPU 0 during training code ea02. I pressed F1 to continue booting, and the system launched Windows 10 via USB. Installation was extremely slow; even basic actions took several seconds. The OS is running now but everything feels very sluggish. Windows 10 Pro is installing, yet it’s taking much longer than expected. How might this be resolved? Could a RAM slot be damaged beyond repair?
