08-18-2020, 12:17 PM #1A few weeks back I upgraded my CPU to a 5800X and have been encountering WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR bsod's. It mostly appears while playing Overwatch, not in other games, and sometimes after about 20 minutes. I can play for hours without it. My setup is: CPU – Ryzen 7 5800X, Motherboard – ROG STRIX X570-E, RAM – 4x 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4, GPU – GTX 1080 Ti, PSU – Corsair RM750x, Cooler – Corsair ICUE H100i. I ran a stress test with AIDA64 and CPU temps stayed steady at 75°C for 20 minutes without any bsod's. I also updated my BIOS and reinstalled the newest drivers. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 09-02-2020, 09:29 PM #6It occurred to me during certain games. I managed to run heavy tasks without issues. The problem arose when my CPU power extension was connected to the Mobo. It took me about two months to resolve it by removing the extension. Since then, I haven't used it again.
It was just a thought. I found it hard to accept how alike our problems were. By the way, I own a Strix X570-F, an AMD 5800X, and a 4x8GB Corsair setup. I assembled it late last winter, and that problem became my biggest challenge. Wishing you good luck!
