I purchased a new PC about six months ago. Since then, I've experienced blue screens and game crashes. Could you share any error messages or crash reports you've received? Your system specs are: Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 16X2, RTX 4070 Ti, power supply Gold, 750W PSU, B650M motherboard, and a gaming X-AX. The crashes mainly occur during gameplay and display errors. Will you paste the full error logs or messages?
Have you considered a new Windows setup? I’d definitely give it a try. After all the updates and driver installations, only one game kept failing—nothing else worked! If you have any additional drives besides the one with Windows installed, remove them temporarily. Check again; if the issue persists, it’s likely a software conflict rather than hardware problems. You might also want to verify your hardware on another PC to identify the cause.
Thanks for the update. I've run a fresh Windows install and updated drivers multiple times, but the issue persists. I consulted a Microsoft representative who reviewed the crash log and mentioned an access violation at address `ffffffffffffffff`, suggesting a hardware fault. However, I'm concerned about sharing the GPU and CPU details due to warranty restrictions. When I had two RAM sticks installed, I experienced BSODs every ten minutes. I removed one stick four months ago, but crashes still occur. You mentioned it could be a single game, but each time I get the same exception with an address error. It seems the RAM might not be the cause, as switching sticks with new ones didn't resolve the problem. Could you help by analyzing the game crash reports? I'm still getting the hang of these things... I usually build PCs and troubleshoot hardware a lot. Based on what you mentioned, it seems like the issue isn't related to software—probably the motherboard, CPU, or GPU. It could even be the power supply or drives. But most of the clues point to the GPU. Without being able to test the card elsewhere, you're essentially guessing. Ideally, try swapping in another card and see if the problem persists. If it does, you'll know it's not the card. Otherwise, you might need to check the board or CPU, which would require another board and processor for testing. Someone more experienced might be able to help with this. My best guess is the GPU.
