Occasionally when powering on my PC, I encounter a 00 error. I have to turn it off and back on again for it to work properly. There might be several reasons behind this issue. My motherboard is an Asus ROG Strix X299-E gaming model with a 9900X CPU, running three RTX 3080 graphics and four 8 GB B-die GPUs. I’m thinking the power supply unit could be the culprit—it’s a budget Kolink 1200W Continuum model, but I haven’t noticed any shutdowns or strange behavior while it’s running. Although it did trip my fuse box a few times in the past when I first installed it, since I’ve moved the PC and changed the socket, that hasn’t happened. It would be costly to replace another PSU of this type just to check if it’s the problem, so I’m looking for other possibilities before making any changes.
You can run different GPUs for various jobs. SLI doesn’t fully scale, which means you end up being more productive when they run independently. In a render farm setting, you don’t need SLI and it can actually be a drawback. I replaced each 3080 with a 3090 just to check if one of the older models was causing a problem—it didn’t affect the boot issue at all.

You might want to test connecting your headphones to the jack to check for diagnostic sounds. Also, consider whether the speaker came with the case or if you need to purchase it separately. If you suspect a GPU issue, double-check its connection and power supply.
The headphones aren't connecting. A small speaker on eBay costs around three dollars. With that many parts, there might be a problem with startup voltage on one component—perhaps the motherboard or CPU, or maybe one of the GPUs. Startup voltage is usually higher than the operating voltage. Still, sometimes things behave oddly, like with my Maximus X Hero; it restarts three times after cold startup, which is normal when using high-frequency memory settings.
