CPU and GPU appear quite alike (review the PSU image). The photo quality isn't great. Those connectors might need to be divided into two? Updated on Jan 11, 2024 by leclod

Thank you all for your effort. I'm really confused and overwhelmed right now. I've tried almost everything, spent a lot of time setting up this new system for the first time in about eight years, and most of it isn't working. I just want to say I truly appreciate everyone taking the time to help me with this.

I don’t have any other backup except returning it, which seems to be the only option I considered. I wasn’t certain if that might lead to this problem, though it appears to be functioning normally overall. It might be possible from within.

I notice a different board, but the issue remains unchanged. Likely the CPU is the cause. Consider swapping the one you received from the store.

I question it, yet I grasp the idea. I concur it’s worth a shot if you can manage. (You might also consider a less expensive CPU to test, I’d be your neighbor and happy to lend one for a look) Edited January 11, 2024 by leclod

A defective CPU can occur occasionally, so replace the one you own with the one from the store where you purchased it.

I used to have an LGA1151 CPU running an i5-8600K, but now I’m looking at replacing it. I’m considering reaching out to a nearby PC repair shop to see if they can test the board with different components, even though I don’t enjoy doing this work myself.

The CPU came from a previous purchase or source.
