Details: CPU intel i7 5820k RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 4x8 at 2400MHz GPU Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti PSU Corsair RM750x Welcome! I’m facing issues with my second-hand X99 motherboard, error code 53. I suspect a memory problem but have tested everything possible so far and still can’t boot into BIOS. Actions taken: used different memory types, only one stick at a time across all slots, reset CMOS, pressed MEMOK, adjusted CPU cooler pressure (stock due to problems), updated BIOS via the flash button on the board, cleared CMOS by removing battery for 10 minutes. I checked the socket thoroughly; everything seems fine based on what I saw. I didn’t mention it in the post, but I’ll add it later. I’ve tested using a single stick and updated the bios.
Sure, I can share an image if everything looks good. Otherwise, I’m just considering a possible faulty slot.
I received it after installing the CPU. I’ll bring it back and share some photos later.
I don’t think there’s anything incorrect here. I’m just wondering if it might be a faulty slot. Could you check the dimmers, look for any bent pins, and see if that helps?
