Hey friends, I just had to reinstall Windows because of a persistent 'bad image' error. Everything seemed normal until I tried downloading Office again. My school offers Office for free, so I followed the setup instructions and restarted my PC at the final step. During the restart, a window update began automatically—nothing out of the ordinary. The machine ran through its normal startup until it froze on the motherboard screen with the loading wheel. Since I have an SSD, I expected it to load quickly, but it didn’t. Eventually, the blue screen appeared with code 0xc000021. I tried booting in safe mode, but it just loops back to BSOD again. I’m not keen on restoring or reinstalling Windows yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Specs: i5-4460, GTX 750 Ti, Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3, Hyper X 8GB RAM, Verizon 450 GB SSD, 1TB HDD.
