I don't know if this topic is still valid on this forum but here i go So i have an old samsung n148plus laptop from early 2010s the original os was windows 7 ultimate but when i try to reformat the laptop with a new hdd program like opera browser and java get 0xc0000005 error after installing the program Original os: windows 7 ultimate Installed os: windows 7 ultimate sp1 Ram: 1gb Processor: intel atom So after installing the new windows some programs gets 0xc0000005 error even after fresh install i even installed chipset drivers from samsung still nothing and i used driverpack solution offline preinstalled version to update chipset driver still nothing while other programs works without causing an error Installation procedure i used was the hdd was a 320gb capacity so i partitioned a 40gb space for windows installation and the rest for files i didn't installed the vga drivers and wireless lan driver cause i only intend to use the laptop as a portable comic and video library so security vulnerabilities are not much concern Solution i didn't try yet Disabling DEP via bcdedit Using windows 7 ultimate 2018 refresh I'm asking anyone whose been building pc or working in a pc repair shop what I'm doing wrong here cause programs getting 0xc0000005
It was the initial action I took before arriving, so it’s likely another factor is responsible for the issues.
I thought it might be the ISO because I used archive.org and discovered the MD5 hash from Heidoc, and both the hash and ISO matched. So it seems unlikely it's an ISO. However, I used an old flash drive from the early 2010s, and when I tried to extract it with Rufus, the autorun.info file didn’t work properly and the files didn’t copy correctly. Rufus made the drive bootable, which solved the issue. I then transferred all files to the flash drive successfully. Since the device was old and extraction failed automatically, it’s probably a compatibility problem. I’m still going to verify just to be sure.
