Hey!
This is my first attempt at posting something like this, so it might not be very polished yet.

Here are the specs:
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X
GPU: AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Super, waterforce WB 8G
MOBO: Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Formula
RAM: 64GB Trident Z Dual Channel (4x16GB)
PSU: Corsair RM850x
SSD: 2x WD Blue 2TB SATA 3
Cooling: Custom soft tube liquid cooling, two PrimoChill 360mm radiators (three intake fans, three exhaust fans). Hydro X Series XC9 CPU Water Block, Corsair Hydro X Series XD5 Pump/Res combo.

It might be missing a few details I can’t recall.
I assembled this machine about three years ago and have kept it running well on and off since. I do regular maintenance on all parts and the cooling system. Used it in various demanding tasks—modeling, 3D printing, servers—but nothing extreme.

Recently, I moved across the country with the setup fully installed. I supported the GPU with some blocks. When setting it up at home, my father removed those blocks, and I think he accidentally loosened a coolant connection. Once the PC powered on and the pump created pressure, water started flowing into the system. I turned it off, cleaned up as much as possible, waited about 24 hours, then fixed the line and refilled it.

The computer ran normally after I topped up the reservoir and let it run to bleed out the system. During bleeding, I connected peripherals, which caused the PC to shut down. After rebooting, it displayed code “00” and then shut off. It no longer boots, but the MOBO lights up when power is supplied.

I’ve tried several basic diagnostics, but nothing concrete. Since I’m new to auto tech and still learning, I’m hoping you can help identify the issue—especially since I suspect the MOBO might be faulty.

Apologies if this is too detailed; I’m just starting out and trying to gather as much info as possible before moving on.

Among the options, one or all—CPU, MoBo, RAM, GPU, PSU—are considered dead. These five components are essential for starting up. Please mark the location where the liquid was spilled.

It was in the lower half of the machine, just a bit above the GPU but mostly below it. The power supply passed the paperclip test, and the wiring showed proper resistance levels. Mostly waiting to bring my other computer from home so I can begin part swap testing and narrow down the components.

This is the only method to check what remains and what has failed.
The paperclip test doesn't confirm if the PSU is working properly.
Performing this test is similar to starting the car engine and assuming it runs well right away, without actually taking a proper drive.
The test simply activates the PSU without applying any load, which makes it an ineffective evaluation.

I understand it's not a conclusive assessment, but it's the best I can manage with the tools available. My earlier remark might have come across as unclear.
