PC Specifications
Mobo: ASUS H81M-PLUS - - - Bios Version 2104
RAM: 2 x Kingston 8GB
SSD: Crucial MZ500
PSU: EVGA 500W
CPU: Intel i7-4790k
USB stick: SanDisk 32GB
Summary: My PC BSODs and now it won't boot into Windows.
When did the problem begin?
My PC functioned normally until it triggered a BSOD and shut down. The error code was too brief to read.
What occurred afterward?
I attempted to restart the system, but it entered an automatic repair cycle. I adjusted BIOS settings, experimented with key shortcuts to access recovery mode, but nothing resolved the issue.
I also tried connecting different drives. After disconnecting the HDD (which housed the OS on the SSD), I booted from the SSD in BIOS and remained trapped there. Pressing boot from the SSD in the BIOS menu returned me to the same setting.
I used a USB stick to run diagnostic tools, including Ventoy. I could view all files on the SSD, suggesting it wasn’t completely dead. Windows Boot Manager loaded with error code "0xc000000f," indicating a missing BCD (Boot Configuration Data). This aligns with my inability to access Windows repair via F8.
I then attempted to install Windows via USB. Using the Windows 10 media creation tool, I booted from it with the correct BIOS and connected only the SSD. However, the process failed. The Windows or Asus logo appeared, spun a few times, then restarted. I’m stuck in this loop.
I’ve tested various USB drives, switched to Windows 11, altered BIOS settings, disconnected the GPU, and run memory tests. The RAM appears intact.
I also attempted Linux installation, but it didn’t succeed. Reboots are problematic in all cases.
Note: I haven’t cleared the SSD or HDD.
Any assistance would be highly valued.

Have you attempted disconnecting the motherboard battery for a short period to check if reinstalling the BIOS resolves the issue?

I haven't attempted that yet, but I'll give it a shot. (I updated the BIOS while trying to resolve the issue, but it didn't help)

I recently attempted it but ended up with the same result, unfortunately.

Bootloader is likely on the HDD (you removed it).
Reconnect the HDD.
Start from the Windows installation media.
Open the command prompt (press Shift+F10).
Run the commands and capture screenshots of the output (all results may not fit in one image).

When I start from USB with the HHD connected, it behaves exactly the same. The Asus logo shows up, a circle spins for two seconds, then it turns off and restarts. I’m sure I’m actually booting from the USB drive. I’ve adjusted the BIOS settings for CSM, secure boot, fast boot, etc. If I just boot from HHD, it displays a Windows error 0xc000000e saying "a required device isn't connect or can't be accessed." I’ve used Ventoy to inspect the drives and found that the SSD contains all the Windows boot folders and the "Users" folder. The HHD only has a Windows10 Upgrade folder.

I became extremely frustrated and even attempted this link:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BZRL3PLL?r...asin_title
but got identical outcomes. The Windows logo shows, a circle spins, then stops. A narrow red line crosses the screen briefly before it restarts. I tested all drives—SSD, HDD, and none at all—and still faced the same issue. Thank you for any assistance.

I've attempted that and still doesn't resolve the issue—my certainty is it's not related to BIOS settings. I've adjusted all the recommended configurations, reinstalled the BIOS, and tested various USBs and installation media. Does a red line appearing on the screen when it powers off and restarts indicate something specific? Also, did this happen without using the GPU, and does it occur with the same result?
