Good morning, everyone. For several days now, I've been trying to fix a Windows 11 update problem: an installation error code of 0x8000ffff. I found some help online, but it only works for Windows 10. Anyone else know how to solve this? Thanks in advance, Larry

which specific update are you trying to put on? Have you tried turning off your antivirus if you have one? What about running the troubleshoot tool? You could also install it from an .ISO file (like a picture of the files) instead. This is great for big version upgrades, or even other things too. You can keep your apps and data so it's basically just like Windows Update but not as messy. Download here > win11
