Hello everyone, I hope all is well with you. I encountered an issue with my PC about six to seven months ago. It was functioning perfectly until I stopped using it and left it running in Windows 11. After returning after 15-20 minutes, I was greeted by AsRock's BIOS screen instead of launching Windows. I've restarted it multiple times, but it always boots into the BIOS with error codes 'Dr. Debug code A6' or 'Ab'. I've also tried reinstalling the GPU, RAM, NVMe SSD, ATX power cable, and EPS power cable, as well as clearing the CMOS. Still, it doesn't boot into Windows—it just stays in BIOS. Any advice would be appreciated. Here are the details of my machine: CPU: RYZEN 9 5950X RAM: 4x32 GB CORSAIR VENGENCE GPU = RTX 3070 Storage: 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD Motherboard: Asrock B550 Taichi Razor Edition

Is there any SATA device connected? The error A0-A7 relates to an SATA or IDE device. If it appears only in the BIOS, it likely means the setting is related to BIOS rather than a hardware device.

I don’t have any SATA drive, but I do have a fan and RGB controller that use SATA power, though they aren’t attached to the motherboard—just the PSU.

The system runs without issues, bios loads correctly and I see A6 in the MB DR debug LED.

Choose the correct storage option from the startup menu; if unavailable, the device might be faulty.

The error remains active during your session in the BIOS, not just a temporary display. It might simply be a warning sign unrelated to your present problem.

The gadget isn’t visible, and it seems to be a relatively new NVMe SSD. It might fail quickly due to age or manufacturing issues.

Yes remains active in the bios, appearing after the video output signal reaches the monitor, and continues until the PC is powered off.

Do you have any pendrives and other devices? If yes, make a bootable USB of Windows (use what you have) and run it. Check if the drive appears on the Windows install screen. If it shows up and isn’t dead, it’s a corrupted installation. If you’re worried about data, use a Linux USB with a live environment (Ubuntu works) to back up the information from there.
