Is the installation being done from a network source? Have you attempted to save the files locally?

I'm not entirely clear on what you're referring to, but I'm attempting to set it up on my laptop. I previously had SPSS 27 and tried removing it, but the issue persists even after using the uninstaller. The troubleshooter for Windows programs helped with the removal of SPSS 27, but not with installing the new version.

Are the installation files being placed from a network source?
Do they exist on a shared network drive accessible from another device?
Or have they been transferred to your laptop's hard drive or SSD?

The files are stored on your laptop's SSD, but you're attempting to install them on the laptop itself.
