You're just starting out and successfully removed the CPU using a heatsink—congratulations! After 25 years of building, you're at a good point. The Aorus Master X570 with a 50/50 motherboard or CPU setup is solid. Your CPU pins appear fine, so you're all set. For your next choice, consider stability and compatibility; a well-matched motherboard can make a big difference. Good luck!

Apply 99% isopropyl alcohol to the CPU socket, then cover it with a material suitable for LGA components (like tissue). Let it sit for a day. While waiting, clean the CPU pins thoroughly—this will require soaking or spraying them, unlike on LGA where wiping with a tissue suffices.

Ensure the 8pin CPU connections are correct! Avoid using PCIe power sources.

Cleaned CPU and socket, allowing a day to pass. Verified that power levels are normal. System functioned properly until I removed the CPU. Uncertain if the photo captured any upload errors. Inspected closely with a magnifier—no bent or missing pins found.

Reset the CMOS during downtime. Remove the battery and keep the jumper in clear mode.
