I'm working with a cable or unusual setup. I've tried all the online solutions I could find, but outcomes remain similar. Occasionally there are packet drops, and in the morning the ping works well with steady speeds—slow upload and download, but consistent. My ISP seems unreliable; they just restart the router and say you're fine if you hit full speed, but they don't help with ping problems.
connect PC directly to router/modem and try again. If problem persists its either the router/modem or the internet connection itself. For better help we need some more info. Like what kind of internet, DSL, cable, fiber, satelite? What router/modem? PC specs, just in case. So we sure its not that. (altho by the look very unlikely.) All in all, the more you share the easier it is to give proper advice.
