Hey there, I'm just starting this forum and have a problem with my Medion laptop. At first, it worked great for my IT studies and the tasks I did there. After upgrading to 12GB RAM, the GTX950m ran smoothly and I could play some regular games. This week I tried playing Fluff again, an old indie title that worked on my mom's Pentium IV. My laptop played fine then too. After about 30 minutes of gaming, it suddenly shut down. Checking the Nvidia overlay showed my GPU temperature rising to 103°C and CPU at 86°C. The fan speed didn't change, and no voltage was displayed. I'm worried about damaging it, especially since it's my travel gaming PC and I want to keep it in good shape. What should I do?
To add to the info about the system. I clean it out at least 2 times a year with some canned air, to keep dust buildup low. Internal it had an Intel i5 6200u 8GB of Kingston ram with an added 4GB Samsung ram at the same frequency. It has 1x 120GB Kingston SSD as boot and important files. Properly partitioned. With an added 1TB of HDD for non-important files and games. Drivers are all up to date, I try to check it every week or so. I use the stock charger, which still seems to work fine.
