Examples matter a lot when evaluating costs. If you were to build now, Alder Lake would be a solid choice. A 12700 series offers 8 P cores plus 4 E cores. For higher performance, you could opt for a more expensive option near the 5800X, but K is less important compared to price. OC isn’t as crucial these days. Make sure to use Windows 11 for optimal results. The older 11700k might still be worth considering too. Pair it with a 500 chipset rather than a 400, since I faced issues with that setup before.
