Equipment featuring a Wi-Fi repeater along with Ethernet input and output connections
Hello to everyone. I wanted to know if there is a hardware with these capabilities: It receives the connection via an Ethernet cable connected to the router; It repeats the signal via Wi-Fi; It has an output ethernet port to send the connection to my laptop. Router -> Ethernet cable -> this hardware (It repeat the signal via Wi-Fi) -> ethernet cable -> my laptop. Thanks you so much for your answers.
when speed isn't the main concern, there are basic TP-link routers that can function as a simple bridge when set up properly. if you prioritize performance... why not combine a switch with an access point? since you're connecting through Ethernet, you don't really need a repeater.
Hi, thank you for the update. The issue is that your router is located in the kitchen, which causes weak WiFi coverage in your room. For your work, a strong network connection is essential, so you're looking to use an Ethernet cable to connect your laptop and also extend the WiFi signal for other devices like your phone and tablet.
