In fact, I don't agree. I believe it should be updated without needing permission. This improves the experience for about 99% of users.

Absolutely, you're right. It seems like only part of the message was shared. The concern is about installing drivers for non-existent devices on Windows 10, which shouldn't be happening. I've experienced similar issues with Windows 7 before, but not this way with Windows 10.
