But what the heck. You should have noticed my reaction when I saw this... Motherboard dp965lt, nine years old CPU Core 2 duo, 2.4 GHz, RAM 4x1GB dual channel at 667MHz, SSD Western Digital 200GB, nearly ten years old, PSU Corsair CX430W, new GPU Asus GTX750Ti OC, dual fans, runs Battlefield 4 smoothly at ultra 1080p with two AA batteries. (Occasionally I see brief fps drops lasting just a second or two, plus audio freezes) But FPS works perfectly on this old rig, except for those short fps dips. (Audio stutters too) Still, F4 performs just fine here. WIN.

It seems there might be some confusion. A Core 2 Duo is typically released around the late 2000s or early 2010s, so it wouldn't be appropriate for a child aged 5-6.

It's frustrating when Minecraft runs at only 30 frames per second on low settings.

they're still superior to the latest generation systems /s I'm just teasing, next-gen consoles rely on overly complex APIs to release titles fast. give them a few more years...

The PS3 games played in 1080p throughout their life, but only lower quality remained... The PS4 struggled to reach 1080p right from the start, and it seems unlikely it will improve.

It feels a bit unfair... even with an old CPU (though I’m not sure how you got that number) and a GPU under a year old, it launched only a few months after BF4 was released.

Technically, you could improve it by switching to a strong GPU and using a processor from 2009.

I understood the purchase decision based on power needs. It wasn’t perfect, but better than the nx8400gs. When I checked its performance, it was impressive—this chipset is quite powerful for its price. It’s not a top-tier card, but definitely not a budget one either. It’s a solid mid-range option. You’ll find it for around $120 in some places. The Core 2 Duo feels old by comparison, and the RAM is DDR2 at 667 MHz. Running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate works fine. I noticed occasional FPS drops—brief screen and audio freezes lasting about a second. It’s around 30 FPS. I plan to film it later for you. This is pretty wild. LOL. Still, I won’t play online with these interruptions. I’ll upgrade my whole PC, including the motherboard, soon.
