I submitted a claim for Elite Dangerous on the Epic Games Store. Now I wish to experience it in VR, but SteamVR requires SteamVR compatibility, which isn’t available here. Since I found a guide suggesting a free Steam key from another platform (2015), I tried following it, but it only shows “you haven’t purchased a copy yet.” It seems the game isn’t accessible via SteamVR at the moment, or there’s no alternative method to launch it through Epic with VR support.

Purchase the game straight from Frontier to obtain access, or remain limited to the original platform.
