Hello! I purchased my laptop with Windows 10 already installed. I logged in using my Microsoft account linked to an old Hotmail email. Now Microsoft has blocked that email, which is still tied to my device. I need to update the administrator account’s email, but I can’t access my locked Hotmail account. I heard a factory reset might fix this, but I’m unsure if it’s possible without the license key. Since the laptop came pre-installed with Windows 10, should the reset work? Do I need the license key to complete this change? I want to remove the old administrator account using my previous email and start fresh with a new Hotmail, making sure it’s the only admin user. Thank you for your assistance!

You're asking if resetting Windows and logging in with a new Gmail account affects the license key tracking, especially since it's tied to your motherboard. Regarding safety, you should retrieve the license key through the BIOS/BIOS menu or a trusted app rather than relying on the command line.
