First of all, is this the best moment? I’m aware the 3080 is delayed. No information on the CPU setup, if conditions are shifting soon. The details are clear—Intel-focused, RAM capped at 3000 MHz. Occasionally people mention issues on Steam forums when users have Ryzen. About 98% of it goes into gaming. The budget sits around 1300 CAD (~1000 USD) max. Simplicity wins. Not aiming for an overclocker and avoiding flashy branding.

10850k, 9900k, 10600k min. However, 7700k is a solid CPU, so I’d hold off until the Rocket Lake launches around early 2021.
