I have a ThinkPad with two drives running Windows 10 and MX KDE. I got a newer laptop but it doesn’t support dual drives. I understand I can leave one drive empty and run Linux alongside Windows, though it’s a bit tricky since I already have everything set up as desired in backup images for both OS. What I’m asking is if it’s possible to transfer the MX KDE installation from the original laptop to the secondary partition on the new machine, so Windows and Linux can boot together with a few terminal commands or Windows steps. I’m comfortable with computers but haven’t tried this before, and I’m unsure how to proceed when only one drive is available. This is something I didn’t attempt before, and I’m not sure what to do.
