I just replaced the PC's motherboard and tried to turn Windows back on. I told it I've updated the hardware and chose the desktop version, but it still says it can't activate Windows. Any ideas? I don’t want to waste more than £100 on a new code. Martin

Purchasing an OEM-key for around 10€ on Kinguin is frequently a viable choice. However, I might wait a few hours and attempt it again—sometimes the system just needs some time before recognizing the reactivation.
