I purchased a new motherboard and SSD for my PC, which required reinstalling Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Since I couldn’t use the product key, I didn’t proceed with activation. Now, after a few weeks, a validation message appeared asking me to confirm Windows. Do you know if there’s a contact number or support option I can use?
Turn it on using your key. If it warns it can't be activated online, give them a phone number to call for activation. Then inform them it's set up on a single machine. For additional details, see the general information page:
Yeah, just go to something like "activate windows by phone", call the number, enter the looooooonnnngg key it provides to you, you gotta wait for it to ask you for the next set before entering it. It's a little clumsy, but it only takes about 5 minutes to do so, its all automated. Wai you so fast on all this .-.
