I assembled my computer about a year ago, but recently I realized my RAM was set to 2000 MHz. I decided to adjust it manually to 3000 MHz, which was advertised as 3200 MHz. After making this change, the PC shut down and wouldn’t restart. I attempted to reset the CMOS, but that didn’t help. I also moved the RAM sticks around and nothing changed. I even swapped out the GPU, but the issue persists.

Are you shutting down or disconnecting the power supply? Consider letting the battery rest for a few minutes to verify.

I took out the power supply and left the battery charging overnight, but it’s not working. I’m starting to wonder if the CPU might be the issue.

I don’t have any other RAM sticks, so I’ll try the BIOS flashback.

The bios flashback should remain steady throughout, not blink.

It should blink; keep the power low if the light stays on. Use a smaller USB stick, make sure it’s FAT32 formatted, or it won’t work.
