The Safety Removal Hardware and Eject Media feature works most of the time, but sometimes it fails to appear during connections. A temporary fix involved making a shortcut for manual use, though a lasting solution would be better.

It remains concealed by the "show hidden icons" carat button, and it doesn't show up at all.

It might be that Quick Removal is active, which means Windows doesn’t require a safe ejection before removing the drive—just ensure your chipset and USB controller drivers are up to date. (Better safe than sorry!)

Removal process is active; the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media button appears sporadically. Would adjusting performance settings help? Can the icon remain visible regardless of connection status?
