You recently installed your new system and are facing issues during setup. Everything seems to work initially, but on first boot all drives appear correctly in BIOS. During the second boot, no drives show up, the CMOS drive disappears repeatedly, and you're stuck trying different BIOS versions without success. The motherboard appears fine, yet the problem persists across OS attempts.

Disconnect each one individually to identify the faulty drive, it seems the 3TB HDD might be the issue.

Consider using just the device you wish to install on the motherboard. Verify there are no BIOS configurations preventing NVMe drives from appearing.

You're wondering which port you connected your NVMe drive to by accident. Usually it's the one nearest the CPU, often just above the top PCIe slot.
