You're experiencing unusual behavior with your Ryzen CPU—only one core showing minimal usage while others are active. This could indicate an issue with power management, thermal throttling, or even a BIOS setting affecting core selection. Since you're concerned about stability and performance, it's wise to monitor this closely. Disabling CPPC cores might help temporarily, but be cautious as it can affect system responsiveness. Keep an eye on the situation and consider capturing a screenshot when you're ready to share for further analysis.

I face the same problem with my Ryzen 3700X where sometimes the PC freezes at 500 MHz or lower during boot. It forces me to restart, which fixes everything. I’m unsure why this happens but have managed it for over a year.

Wow, that sure is bothersome. It feels like my first Ryzen CPU yet—I’ve been using the FX8350 and i7 6700 before. I personally don’t like Ryzen Master because it doesn’t auto-apply on startup. I’m thinking about going back to Intel next time. I really dislike overclocking CPUs now thanks to Ryzen. I’m fine with GPU overclocking, but this one just causes me stress.

Are you interpreting the data accurately? Some components remain active during load, while others operate at about 5-10%. That seems correct.

I face the same problem at 9600k. Occasionally, cores 0 through 4 run at full capacity while core 5 operates between 10-20%.
