CS:GO belongs to the DX9 category, not DX11. EDIT: Therefore, a third-party tool might be needed to achieve this.

If the game doesn't support DX11, it won't work with that version. You're attempting to operate a gasoline vehicle using diesel.

It's a DX9 title, I own a 980Ti (which is DX12.1), and I'm using Windows 8.1 (DX11.2). After installing MSI Afterburner to monitor FPS, it shows D3D9.

Crysis 3 uses a different design and likely relies on third-party tools. That means it’s probably not built by the developers themselves. So unless those external programs are included, there’s no direct way to change it. The explanation is there too. Anyway, why would you go through all this trouble?

Yes, you could rewrite the Source Engine.

We’re planning to experiment with CS:GO using four monitors—three at 1080p and one at 1440p. The game runs smoothly at medium to high settings, but pushing the maximum causes a significant drop in frames per second. I understand you might think it’s strange, but my brother encouraged me to try something unusual, and I’m eager to see what happens. It’s just a fun challenge for me, even though it seems a bit reckless.

It might offer a small improvement, but likely it could cause issues or performance problems.
