Pale Moon belongs to the same family, perhaps a better chance there? It seems another factor might be responsible, though. It could be wise to begin anew with a fresh profile and install plugins on a clean setup.

It seems Shockwave Flash was quite unstable before. I experienced the same problem with Firefox and couldn't resolve it at that time. Now it's fixed. YouTube videos used to run slowly—just a few frames per second, barely noticeable—but Waterfox is much more reliable these days.

It seems inconsistent when the term "Shockwave flash" appears outdated, yet the site lists both Shockwave player and Adobe Flash.

Ensure the newest Adobe Flash Player is up to date for better performance. For added reliability, right-click a video, select settings, and adjust to disable hardware acceleration. Flash can be quite unstable.

I was really surprised to hear that. Watefox is real, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm currently using Chrome and haven't run into any problems. It feels fast. I don’t mind Firefox too much.

Which browser are you using? Firefox, Waterfox, Chrome, or Maxthon?

I've been using Waterfox for over a year now, and I haven't noticed any issues so far. Plus, I tend to keep multiple tabs open!
