You’re facing a common issue when switching between 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Since the upgrade key you have is tied to Windows 8.1, you’ll need to generate a new key for the 64-bit edition. You can create a fresh key through the Media Center setup or by using the built-in tool to convert the existing one. This will allow you to install the version from your media disk without conflicts.

Set up Windows 8.1 Pro by downloading it from a 64-bit DVD first, then move to the ProWMC version. This is the recommended approach when using an edition that includes an Add Features key.

You can try using the upgrade key, but you might need to locate your original key first.

I received my original key from Support, moved it to positions 8 and 10, and everything is working well so far! Appreciate the assistance.
