Enough for my i7?
If you own Cryorig products, you might want to explore the H5 or H7 coolers. By the way, where are you located? Do you have a budget and a preferred place to buy? The NH-U9S would suffice, but if you had a better choice, why not go for it?
When examining the NH-U9S, it seems you're working within an SFF setup such as an EVGA Hadron Air. It's true the cooler can handle CPU cooling through mild overclocking. If your room temperature is lower, you might be able to push higher overclocks. For clarity, I tested this on an EVGA Z170 Stinger inside an EVGA Hadron Air running an i7-6700K.
I wasn't planning to set up an SFF system. I decided to try this cooler because I faced issues with my previous choices, the Dark Rock Pro 3 and mainboard (last post). Full System: Motherboard ASRock Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K4, Graphics card 8GB Asus GeForce GTX 1080 (A8G), Core Intel Core i7 7700K 4x 4.20GHz, Case be quiet! Silent Base 800, PS 500 Watt, Cooler Noctua NH-U9S.
