Enjoying Netflix and playing video games simultaneously.
I recently acquired a secondary display to allow me to stream Netflix simultaneously with gaming. However, I’ve observed that when my game is running in Windows full-screen within its application, the Netflix displayed on the other monitor exhibits noticeable lag or a delayed response. Please offer your suggestions.
Streaming on Netflix will take a backseat to the gaming display – whether due to a problem within the Netflix application (which releases its processing power when inactive) or a difficulty with the game itself. While you could potentially adjust the task scheduling to improve performance, I don’t believe it would be effective.
Do the two screens have identical update rates?
(such as 60Hz)
Does enabling or disabling vertical synchronization within the game affect performance?

Despite this being an outdated discussion, I’d still like to present this resolution. I experienced this issue myself for quite some time. I obtained a 144Hz monitor as my primary display and utilized a 60Hz monitor as a secondary one; selecting 60Hz on both resolved the problem. It's important to note that I prioritized the game with a low setting and Netflix (via the Windows application) with a high priority in Task Manager. However, this initially had no impact, suggesting it might not be effective as Kyzarvs indicated.
