I've checked this thoroughly, and most of the answers focus on how to run MudRunner on PS4, using a PS4 controller on PC, or about purchasing a used console for resale. The remaining 1% were unrelated discussions about PS4 sales in Nigeria. I haven't tried Steam controller settings myself, and the YouTube guide mentioned isn't visible to me.

Your PC might struggle to recognize the PS5 controller without a Mayflash Magic S Pro adapter. Using this device will connect your controller to it, allowing it to function similarly to an Xbox controller on Steam. Alternatively, you can connect it via a wired setup, though wireless is generally preferred as recommended by Amazon UK and Amazon US.

I checked the Steam controller settings and filled in the boxes. Now my PC treats the PS5 controller as an Xbox controller. The only games that need a controller are on my Steam account, so it should work without any extra steps.
